I received a BA from Brown University and MBA from
Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania. Before embarking on college
advising, I was a marketing consultant for 14 years, working with
corporate clients and non-profit foundations. Prior to that, I was
a marketing and advertising executive for 10 years in San Francisco
and New York. I became interested in college
advising after helping our oldest daughter, Monica, through the college labyrinth.
She was diagnosed with dyslexia after the third grade, and I helped her overcome her learning difference in school. Thanks
to her hard work and receptivity to guidance during the college
admissions process, Monica was accepted early at the college of her choice. She graduated with a double degree —Economics and Visual Arts— and was named All American Sailor in June 2007. She’s loving management consulting.
Advisory Board, College Admissions and Career Planning, UC Berkley Extension, 2009-2011.
Completed Harvard's Summer Institute on College Admissions, June 2007.
Member of Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA).
